Naked In The Gym (And Other Interesting Trivia About The Gym)

A gym, like most things around us, has a history… in fact, there are bits and pieces of information that are fascinating, when it comes to the gym.

Here’s one shocker – a gym, in faraway Greece in the olden times, was a place for men only. Ancient Greece considered the gym as the go to place to train both the minds and the bodies of men. Interestingly, Greek athletes performed naked.
But this should be unexpected since the word “gymnasium” literally means “place to be naked.” (more…)
