Well, it's true that I lack these machines. But let me fill you in on one of the best kept secrets of the fitness industry - Machines suck! Why?
Here are 3 reasons:

When using machines, there is:
  1. Lack of use of stabilizing muscles which are essential for injury prevention and overall development of the human musculature
  2. Unequal distribution of weight (with the stronger side ‘helping’ the weaker side, the strong side gets stronger and the weak side gets weaker)
  3. Fixed planes of movement (movement is uniquely different for different individuals). Forcing the body to adapt to a fixed plane of movement unnatural to the body can lead to injuries overtime
